Ciudad Quesada Spain

Entrance to Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada Spain – A unique and interesting place located inland of Torrevieja, on the Costa Blanca, Spain is the new city of Ciudad Quesada, built since the 1970’s and the product of a dream by a man named Justo Quesada Samper. As a child this extraordinary man dreamt of a city where people could live together in peace and harmony and enjoy life to the full, with everything to hand and available. As the city started to grow it developed around the holiday home plan and many International citizens began buying properties in the city making it a truly Cosmopolitan area. Now the city of Quesada (as it is more commonly known) is fully complete and has its own Town Hall, medical centre, shops, bars, restaurants, social club, eighteen hole golf course and aqua water park, plus much more. Mostly built upon a hillside, Ciudad Quesada offers some spectacular views over Rojales, the nearby salt lakes and on to the azure blue Mediterranean Sea. Quesada benefits from sunny weather all year round, so has became a popular holiday resort, with hundreds of detached villas with pools available for rent. You can reach Ciudad Quesada using the CV-905 from Torrevieja or the handy AP-7 motorway which connects the city with both Murcia and Alicante airports.

Los Montesinos Town Square

Los Montesinos Town Square

Los Montesinos Spain – Another of the popular towns of the southern Costa Blanca, Los Montesinos is not actually on the coast, but slightly inland to the north of Torrevieja’s famous salt lake, where huge quantities of salt have been produced for centuries. A desirable spot for the purchase of holiday homes and even for relocating, Los Montesinos has attracted a large number of International residents, who mix nicely with the traditional Spanish inhabitants. A number of large urbanizations have sprung up around Los Montesinos in the last twenty years or so, and this has given the town a more contemporary feel. The main attraction for Brits and other Northern Europeans, is of course the sunny weather, which stays fine even when Britain is gripped by winter. The appeal is obvious to all who visit and it is not surprising that many have chosen to make Los Montesinos their home.

Lo Pagan Mud Baths

Lo Pagan Mud Baths

Great places to visit – the healing mud baths of Lo Pagan. If you are visiting the Costa Calida, in the Murcia region of Spain this year you should take time out to visit the famous healing mud baths at Lo Pagan – completely free for visitors to use, these well laid-out mud baths include wooden platform areas with steps for elderly and disabled visitors. The hot healing mud is renowned for its healing properties and can be very helpful for a variety of ailments and skin complaints. To get to Lo Pagan follow the N-332 from Torevieja or the Orihuela Costa and turn off just before San Pedro del Pinatar, by the roundabout with the little boat, Lo Pagan is clearly signposted. Get there early to get parking nearby, it can get pretty busy in summer time and parking spaces are limited close to the beach, though there is plenty of parking before you get to the beach.

Websites for Sale

Filed under: England, Spain, Uncategorized, Websites — Tags: , , , , , — needahand @ 9:20 am

Going slightly off topic for a moment (if I have a topic!), I have several websites that I am currently considering selling. As I now have over 100 domain names, it is getting a little tough to keep up with them all so for now I am listing 4 which I would consider selling at the right price, 3 of them are Spanish based websites dealing with property sales (or rentals), the other is for personal trainers in my home town of Aylesbury. The Spanish property sites are based in Torrevieja, Villamartin and Moraira, and are all a little different in construction, though the Torrevieja and Villamartin ones both use wordpress so would be easy to export in their current form. The Torrevieja property site uses a plugin and can be viewed here: Torrevieja Property Site, it only has a couple of properties on at the moment, but of course if you purchased it, you would no doubt want to add your own properties. The Villamartin property on used a theme called classipress, so you would have to buy your own license if you wanted to keep it in its present form, it can be viewed here: Villamartin Property Site, again it only has 3 properties on at the moment though I will add more when I get time. This one is already on page 2 of google.co.uk for its keyword, so could be very profitable for anyone selling property in the Villamartin area. The third property site is for Moraira property (Moraira is in the northern Costa Blanca). This website was produced with Dreamweaver, so anyone using this software could easily have all the files transferred, and use ‘as is’, you can view this site here: Moraira Property Site. The final website that I have for sale (there will be many more), is for personal trainers in Aylesbury. It may seem a little weird but I am constantly getting requests to list personal trainers on my many town information websites, so I guess there must be a demand. This Aylesbury personal trainer website will shortly appear on page 1 of google.co.uk and hopefully will be at position 1, so it would be a great money spinner for anyone offering these services in Aylesbury, or wanting to list services for a fee, as it is in its current form. You can view this website here: Aylesbury Personal Trainer. So there it is, all 4 websites are for sale (no hurry), and I will part with them for the right price, they are not currently providing any income as I have not added Google Adsense ads to any of them, though this could easily be done, and would in time get your money back.

Cabo Roig Orihuela Costa

Cabo Roig Bay and Marina

Cabo Roig Bay and Marina

One of the most popular holiday destinations along Spain’s southern Costa Blanca coastline, Cabo Roig is a beautiful and desirable resort. Renowned for its clean sandy beaches, its lovely marina and its excellent strip of bars, shops and restaurants, Cabo Roig offers everything you would want for a great family holiday. Though it is very busy during the summer months it is actually a superb location for a holiday any time of the year. Easy to reach from both Alicante and Murcia airports, Cabo Roig is handily placed for visiting other attractions along the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida.

The eye-catching 16th century watchtower, around which Cabo Roig originally grew, is now part of a restaurant complex which overlooks the recently modernised marina. An estimated 2 million euros was spent on the refurbishment of what is now one of the Costa Blanca’s most desirable mooring spots.

There are a number of excellent beaches to visit whilst on a trip to Cabo Roig. The main beaches are Cala Caleta and Cala Capitan both very popular with holidaymakers. Also within easy reach are the beaches at Campoamor, La Zenia and Playa Flamenca. All of these beaches are kept very clean and are usually raked every day, they are also safe for children.

Cabo Roig, along with the entire Costa Blanca region, has a wonderful climate and the sun shines on over three hundred days per year, the mean temperature being about 20 degrees C. You can usually expect to see little rainfall between May and October and the days are generally long and sunny. When rain does fall it is usually during the winter months, November and February being the most common months for rain. December and January are usually sunny and pleasant but with cold nights.

There is plenty to do in and around Cabo Roig, why not start with a trip into the nearby town of Torrevieja, with it’s wonderful promenade and marina and it’s many fine beaches? If you are visiting during the summer months, don’t forget the Aqua Splash park with its gigantic slides, refreshing pools and excellent picnic area. If you feel a little more adventurous you may wish to try out the go-karts at Punta Prima, here you can drive the full size karts or the kids can have a go on the mini karts or even the mini quads. In the summer the circus comes to town and this is a great attraction for the children and adults alike, being an old style circus, it has plenty of animals performing tricks to amaze and entertain. The younger at heart may prefer a trip to the busy resort of Benidorm, a journey of around an hour and a half (a coach picks up in Cabo Roig a couple of times a week), Benidorm has some wonderful facilities including Aqualandia, Terra Mitica and the Mundomar Marine Animal Park. Sporting enthusiasts may partake of the golfing, the water sports (the water sport resort of La Manga is only a 40 minute trip), or the fishing – there are angling safaris available for those preferring fresh water angling.

If you are looking to buy a property on the Costa Blanca, then Cabo Roig would be an ideal location, with plenty of variety ranging from 1 bedroom apartments to beautiful detached villas on the seafront.

Cabo Roig is easily reached by way of the N-332 coastal road (Cartagena to Alicante) or from the AP-7 motorway junctions 768 or 763. The closest airport is Murcia (San Javier) which is approximately 20 minutes drive away. Benidorm is located further north but can also be easily accessed from the N332.

Boasting over 300 days of sunshine every year and having some towns with unique micro-climates, such as Torrevieja, Santa Pola and Calpe, which are listed amongst the healthiest places on earth to live, the Costa Blanca weather making it a popular area for relocation, especially for north Europeans, attempting to escape the dismal, wet climates of their own countries. The summer months June to September are especially hot and very little rainfall is experienced during these times, the worst months to visit are generally November, February and March, the most pleasant months to visit being May and October, when nice weather can be expected without the high temperatures.
