CNC Miller required for precision engineering firm based in Weymouth. Standard day work, 40 hour weeks, pays between £12-13 per hour dependant on experience and they require someone to start ASAP. Ideal candidate will be able to program set and operate CNC Mills with Siemens and Heidenhain. Candidates without programming experience will not be considered for this role. Off line 3D programming capability would be advantageous but not essential. The company produce small components for British Aerospace and are looking for someone with the same or a similar background. A background from creating small components for the motor industry for example. The employer isn't neccessarily looking for someone with a great deal of experience. Successful applicants could be fresh out of college with a couple years experience or have 20 years experience and be much older.

Exciting permanent Construction opportunity exists for a capable commercial Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's most respected and recognised Main Contractors in Dorset. We have vast experience in delivering Civil engineering projects. We help to build the country's infrastructure in the highways, rail, water, waste and power sectors. Our current requirement for an experienced Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor is based from Weymouth, Dorset providing Commercial support for the project and working closely with the operational teams. The scheme includes single carriageway Relief Road, 9 bridges ( one over a railway), several culverts, excavation, filling (including a cutting over an existing railway tunnel), remediation of a redundant land fill site and provisional park and ride facility. Construction works are undertaken under an NEC target cost reimbursable contract. The Construction value is c£45m. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in the construction team, managing and monitoring costs and making your influence felt in a variety of areas. Amongst other responsibilities, you'll provide

- Cost and Value management

- Assist with preparation, maintenance and agreement of Project accounts

- Assist with providing commercial and financial reporting information

- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures in respect of Commercial activities

- Subcontract procurement and management

- Assist with claims management

- Assist with control of project documentation

- Recording and assisting with management of change

- Adherence to company policies and procedures Key Working Relationships

- Some responsibility for: Commercial staff (under guidance) Liaison with:

Internal - Project and technical staff - External - Clients and clients representatives - 3rd parties associated with the project - Designers and Consultants (limited) - Subcontractors - Suppliers
