All\u00a0near to the renowned coastal resort of Denia the\u00a03 towns of\u00a0 all hold some interest. Ondara a stronghold of the Arabs\u00a0during their occupation of the Iberian Penisular,\u00a0has among its a attractions a\u00a0bullring dating from the nineteenth century,\u00a0mostly destroyed during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39),\u00a0the bullring\u00a0was later rebuilt, also of interest in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.needahandspanishproperties.com\/ondara-map.html\">Ondara<\/a> is the Clock Tower, built\u00a0in the Arabic style and the Assut dam, dating from the Moorish occupation. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.needahandspanishproperties.com\/els-poblets-map.html\">Els Poblets<\/a>, formerly\u00a0comprised of three\u00a0small villages is now a popular tourist location with some exclusive villas, this area has some of the most expensive properties in the Costa Blanca region. Els Poblets has some remains of an ancient\u00a0Roman villa, showing evidence of its early settlement in the\u00a01st century BC. The\u00a0pretty town of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.needahandspanishproperties.com\/pedreguer-map.html\">Pedreguer<\/a> is surrounded by vineyards and orange groves, and is close to the\u00a0delightful Jalon Valley, worth is visit is the old town where you will find the 16th century parish church of Santa Cruz.
