A popular day trip from many of the coastal resorts on the <a title=\"Costa Brava Catalonia\" href=\"http:\/\/www.needahandspanishproperties.com\/costa-brava.html\" target=\"_blank\">Costa Brava<\/a> coastline, Figueres shold certainly be on your hot list of places to visit whilst in the area. It lies in the north-eastern section of Catalonia, and is just 40 kilometres from the provincial capital <a title=\"Girona Costa Brava\" href=\"http:\/\/www.needahandspanishproperties.com\/girona.html\" target=\"_blank\">Girona<\/a>, some close by coastal resorts include Roses, Empuriabrava, Cadaques, L\u2019Escala and Llan\u00e7a, so if you are visiting any of these resorts, this could be a good idea for a day trip, especially if you are an art fan, in which case it will be a real treat.
