The town\u2019s renowned church of St Botolph was built by the town\u2019s rich merchants during the 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 15<sup>th<\/sup> centuries, and is one of the landmarks of Lincolnshire, earning itself the nickname the \u201cBoston Stump\u201d.
