Alicante Golf

Alicante Golf – If you fancy a holiday in the sun with the possibility of a game of golf at the same time then Spain would be a good destination to consider. An area with a good choice of golf courses is Alicante province or the Costa Blanca as most of you will know it. One excellent course is at La Finca, which is close to the village of Algorfa, while still being handy for the coastline, so the kids can enjoy the beaches while you play a round or two. Even closer to the sea is the Villamartin Golf Course, which is in the Orihuela Costa area, and almost walking distance from numerous fine beaches. This is not just a golf course but also a very popular area for holiday homes, with hundreds of properties available for rent at great prices, making Villamartin a sensible choice for many reasons.  Not to far from Algorfa, you will find the La Marquesa Golf Course, another fine course and popular too. Some would argue that La Marquesa is in the town of Rojales, while others attribute it to Ciudad Quesada, either way its worth a visit.

Drain Cleaning and Maintenance

Drain Cleaning and Maintenance – If you want to avoid major disasters with your drains some time in the future, you may want to get them checked out on a fairly regular basis in order to be ahead of the game. This is not a job that would need to be done monthly or even yearly, but maybe once every couple of years just to make sure your drains are clear of crap and flowing properly. In the event that you do get a blockage, you need to contact a drain cleaning company pretty quickly so that you don’t get sewage backing up into your home, not a pleasant experience I’m sure. To be on the safe side call on someone who is registered with the NADC where possible, so you know they are properly vetted and qualified to do the job properly. Being a dirty and unpleasant job, expect to pay through the nose for this type of work. Get them checked regularly to avoid big bills.

Need a New Garden Gate

Need a New Garden Gate – Chances are at some point in time you are going to need a new garden gate (assuming of course that you have a garden!). Wooden garden gates tend to rot over time, unless treated regularly, or they may become wobbly due to excessive use and banging in the wind and joints get loosened and worn. An average do-it-yourselfer could probably to the job himself in the case of a wooden gate, but maybe you have or need an electric remote controlled gate, in which case you will need to get in a professional gate fitter to do the job. Even wrought iron gates get tatty in time and need upgrading or replacing, again you might be able to tackle this on your own or you might want to call in an expert who you can trust to do the job properly.
